Morning Cafe Cancer Ride 2012

Story

I am aiming to raise money for Cancer Council WA and I would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make!

 

The Morning Cafe Cancer Ride 2012 is an event organised through Community Radio Station 98five Sonshine FM.

A team of cyclists are about to give up their own time, and pay their own expenses, to ride from Albany to Perth, a distance of over 500 kilometres, raising awareness and funds for Cancer Council Western Australia. The ride will begin from Monday the 15th of October and finish the following Saturday the 20th of October.

The ride has great personal meaning for the team with most knowing the pain that cancer brings when it touches the life of a loved one.

The cyclists will be joined by a support crew who will look after the needs of the riders as well as running the technical side of daily broadcasts on 98five Sonshine FM.
